Acquisition of Worldwide Packaged Foods Business and Asia Fresh Produce Business of Dole -World's Largest Producer and Marketer of Fresh Fruit and Vegetables

Ï㽶ÊÓƵ (headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo; Masahiro Okafuji, President & CEO; hereinafter ¡°Ï㽶ÊÓƵ¡±) and Dole Food Company, Inc. (headquartered in Westlake Village, California, USA; hereinafter ¡°Dole¡±) have agreed and signed a definitive agreement for Ï㽶ÊÓƵ¡¯s acquisition of Dole¡¯s worldwide packaged foods and Asia fresh produce businesses for $1.685 billion.
