Overseas real estate business

Leveraging our knowledge and networks as a general trading company, we are collaborating with local partners as well as Japanese developers and construction companies to expand overseas. In the United States, ASEAN and China, we are currently involved in a wide range of projects including renting and selling units in large logistics facilities, large rental housing multifamily apartment blocks, data centers and industrial parks and investing in hotels and resorts.

In the United States, the Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ Group is pushing forward with the development of multifamily rental apartments, single-family rental houses, and other properties with local partners by leveraging its knowledge in housing development that it has cultivated in Japan and in asset management, such as the knowledge that it has cultivated in the operation of J-REITs and private funds. The housing market in the United States is the largest in the world and it continues to grow, In this market, Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ will continue to proactively expand its business while also seeking to collaborate with its building material business in North America.

Industrial real estate in ASEAN

For 30 years, we have been developing, selling and operating industrial parks to support overseas expansion by Japanese companies. In Indonesia, we have been in partnership with the Sinar Mas Group since 1992 to develop and operate Karawang International Industrial City, which has tenants such as Toyota, Daihatsu, Yamaha, Sharp, Ajinomoto, Unicharm, Kao and P&G. In Thailand and Vietnam, we have formed a capital tie-up with AMATA Corporation, a leading industrial park developer.

In Southeast Asia, Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ will continue to promote its industrial real estate business in areas where demand is expected to increase by leveraging its track record of industrial real estate initiatives developed by the Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ Group domestically and internationally, as well as its global network.

Overseas exhibition business

Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ took the attraction of Warner Bros. Studio Tour Tokyo (opened in 2023) to Toshimaen as an opportunity to embark on the exhibition business starting from construction and realty.
In 2024, Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ signed an agreement regarding a capital and business tie-up with the NEON Group, which operates a global exhibition business centered on film and cultural content.
Moving forward, Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ will push forward with the development of exhibition facilities around the world with a focus on those operated by the NEON Group.
